Introducing Dr Harpreet Sood
Dr Sood has recently joined as a partner and lead GP at the surgery.
Harpreet has an interest in digital led transformation across the health service and also sits on the board of Health Education England, an organisation responsible for training and developing 160,000 staff across the NHS and Wesleyan, a financial services mutual. Harpreet is married with one son and another due in March!
In his spare time, Harpreet is on the tennis or paddle court or building Lego with his son
Getting the help you need
Did you know that there are a number of ways to get help from a clinician; you can call to make a pre-bookable appointment or you can consult with the GP online by submitting an e-consult on the Sternhall Lane website. If you are unsure of how to do this, give us a call and we can help you with it.
You can also get in touch with your local chemist and speak to your pharmacist about your minor ailments.
Care co-ordinators play an important role within the GP surgery to proactively identify and work with people including the frail/elderly and those with long term conditions. Our new care co-ordinators who have accumulated years of knowledge and can help navigate your journey through primary and secondary
care.
Breast cancer awareness month
Breast cancer can affect both men and women. Please check your breasts.
- If you would like some more information, please get in touch with the surgery. The surgery will be holding a fundraiser on Friday 21st October.
- All donations will go to the breast cancer team.
Black History Month
October also marks Black History Month,The Prince of Peckham pub have various events running; including a pop up market, poetry and an Indigo dye workshop for young people, just to name a few.
Southwark council will be doing ‘the mysterious black Tudors– riverside walking tour’ on Friday 28th October at Winchester Walk, tickets are £10

Free flu jab
The surgery will be holding a walk in clinic on Saturday 5th November from 9am-12pm. If you would like your vaccine this year, please come along.
